Marvelous collection of PROOFS concerning Moroccan stamps. On the whole there are 64 proofs (artist, stage, inspection p.) of rejected and accepted designs res. often signed by the artist, 2 composite of four, 8 unissued stamps and 41 issued stamps. It is to be highlighted an extensive part for an rejected project of an 1950/52 issue dedicated to the General Leclerc's Monument in Temara (Mi. #I/IV) which just comprises 26 proofs, the 2 composites and the 8 unissued stamps. And more there are for the 30fr value of the 1953 army help issue 6 different colored proofs for an airmal denomination instead of issued postage denomination (Mi. #365, Sc #292). Also there is a stage proof for a rejected stamp project (showing ruins, a tree and a minaret) propably for the 1939 stamps set Moroccan landscapes and monuments (signed by C. P. Josso). All items are mounted on 44 exhibit-ready sheets with nice arrangements and well-informed descriptions, please look at and take much pleasure in this marvelous collection!
