Specialized collection of the various mint and used stamps, some covers, proofs, essays, etc., even on pages with detailed description in three albums. This impressive collection starts with six pre-philatelic letters (from 1704 entire Alexandria-Livorno, Italy), followed by a comprehensive part first 1866 issue, including proofs, the two Types, perforations, varieties/errors, pieces and covers, 5p. with 17 proofs (also optd. 10p.) and 9 stamps, 10p. with 14 proofs and 9 stamps, etc., the second issue with mint and used stamps of various types, plus some Fournier and Spiro forgeries, comprehensive part third issue including 1st and 2nd printing, lithographed stamps, attractive covers, both perforations, errors and varieties, part sheet reconstruction, a lot of multiples (some marginal) incl. tête-bêche pairs, etc., to 1879 provisionals (incl. imperfd. stamps, or misplaced/inverted overprint). The collection was completed by 14 1867-71 Essays, and 14 certificates are added.
